Analysis of anionic surfactants of the "Alkyl phosphate" type

Alkyl phosphates belong to a group of organic compounds called organophosphates. They are esters of phosphoric acid H₃PO₄ and the corresponding alcohol.

The phosphates present in certain detergents and dishwashing products have the role of preventing the deposit of limescale on linen and dishes.

The distribution of the units (distribution) is to be directly linked with the surfactant properties and their analysis is possible by UPLC/TOF-MS.
